Nomnomnomics was an app concept I developed with a few friends for a competition. The goal of the app was to create a business simulation game for high schoolers to promote economic and financial literacy. The premise is that the player runs a store in a small town and is hoping to expand. These images are mockups of the app I made in Photoshop.
The start screen for the app shows a small, quiet town (vaguely inspired by Edward Hopper's Early Sunday Morning).
The player is given a few choices of shop type to choose from, hopefully offering something for everyone.
The player can adjust the quantity of goods and prices to try to manipulate demand.
There is also a social aspect to the game - players can compete with one another by trying to reap the most profit.
